Sewage Treatment Plant

Sewage Treatment System (STP)

Biological Treatment System for Domestic Wastewater Reuse

Sewage Treatment Systems treat domestic wastewater generated from residential, commercial, and institutional facilities, enabling safe discharge or reuse for gardening and flushing.

Detailed Process Flow
  • 1
Preliminary Treatment Screening and grit removal eliminate rags, plastics, sand, and debris.
  • 2
Biological Treatment Microorganisms degrade organic matter using technologies such as MBBR, SBR, MBR, or Activated Sludge Process.
  • 3
Secondary Clarification Biomass is separated from treated water through gravity settling.
  • 4
Tertiary Treatment Advanced filtration and disinfection improve effluent quality for reuse.
  • 5
Sludge Handling Sludge thickening, dewatering, and safe disposal or reuse.
♻️ Treated Water Reuse: Toilet flushing, landscaping, gardening, cooling towers.

Industrial Effluent Treatment Plant

Effluent Treatment System (ETP)

Industrial Effluent Management & Compliance System

Effluent Treatment Systems are designed to treat complex industrial wastewater containing oils, chemicals, heavy metals, color, and toxic substances.

Detailed Process Flow
  • 1
Effluent Collection & Equalization Effluents from various process streams are collected and homogenized to stabilize flow and pollutant concentration.
  • 2
Chemical Treatment Neutralization, coagulation, and flocculation remove suspended solids, metals, and toxic compounds.
  • 3
Biological Treatment Aerobic or anaerobic treatment reduces organic load (BOD/COD).
  • 4
Filtration & Polishing Advanced filtration ensures compliance with discharge or reuse norms.
  • 5
Treated Water Reuse Recovered water is reused for industrial utilities or further processing.

ZLD System

Zero Liquid Discharge (ZLD)

Complete Wastewater Recovery with Zero Liquid Disposal

ZLD systems ensure maximum water recovery and eliminate liquid waste discharge. They are critical for meeting strict environmental regulations and conserving water in water-scarce regions.

Detailed Process Flow
  • 1
Pretreatment & Conditioning Chemical conditioning and ultrafiltration to protect downstream membranes from scaling and fouling.
  • 2
High-Recovery RO (HERO/CCRO) Advanced Reverse Osmosis systems operating at high pressures to recover up to 90-95% of water.
  • 3
Thermal Evaporation (MEE/MVR) The RO reject (brine) is fed to a Multi-Effect Evaporator or MVR to evaporate water and concentrate solids.
  • 4
Crystallization & Solids Separation The concentrated slurry is processed in a crystallizer/pusher centrifuge to separate dry salts.
  • 5
Condensate Reuse Pure condensate from the evaporator is recycled back to the process utility, achieving Zero Liquid Discharge.
Typical Applications: Textile dyeing, pharmaceuticals, power plant cooling tower blowdown, chemical processing.

Desalination System

Desalination System

Seawater & Brackish Water Desalination Systems

Desalination Systems convert saline water into fresh water using advanced membrane technology, providing a reliable water source for coastal cities and industries.

Detailed Process Flow
  • 1
Seawater Intake & Screening Controlled intake with screening to protect marine life and equipment.
  • 2
Pretreatment System Filtration (UF/MMF) and chemical conditioning to protect RO membranes from fouling.
  • 3
High-Pressure RO System Removes dissolved salts (>99%) and impurities using semi-permeable membranes.
  • 4
Energy Recovery Device (ERD) Recovers hydraulic energy from high-pressure brine to reduce power consumption by up to 40%.
  • 5
Post-Treatment & Disinfection pH adjustment, remineralization, and final disinfection for potable use.

Polishing Unit

Polishing Units

High-Purity Water Conditioning

Polishing units are the final step in the treatment chain, designed to produce ultrapure water for critical industrial applications like boiler feed, pharmaceuticals, and semiconductor manufacturing.

Detailed Process Flow
  • 1
Pre-Treatment / RO Permeate Feed Water is first treated via UF and RO to remove bulk TDS and organics.
  • 2
Activated Carbon Polishing Removal of minute traces of organics and chlorine residuals.
  • 3
Mixed Bed Ion Exchange (MB) Columns filled with Cation and Anion resins polish the water to < 1 microsiemen conductivity.
  • 4
Electrodeionization (EDI) Chemical-free polishing technology using electricity to continuously regenerate resins, achieving > 16 Mega-ohm resistivity.
  • 5
UV Sterilization & 0.2µ Filtration Final disinfection and filtration to ensure water is bacteria-free and particle-free at the point of use.
